Lei Zhang
Lei Zhang is a tenured professor and PhD supervisor at the School of Economics, Zhejiang University. She earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from Peking University and her PhD in Economics from Stanford University. Her primary research interests include public economics and education economics. Her academic papers have been published in top-tier international journals such as Economic Journal, Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Human Capital, Journal of Comparative Economics, and Economic Development and Cultural Change, as well as leading Chinese journals like Economic Research and China Economic Quarterly. In 2019, she was awarded the 8th Outstanding Research Achievement Award in Higher Education Institutions by the Ministry of Education.
