Xiaolu Li

Dr. Li Xiaolu, Lecturer at the School of Economics, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She graduated with a Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2017 and joined the School of Economics at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications as a high-level overseas faculty member in 2021. Her main research interests include macroeconomics and urban economics. Dr. Li has long been focused on regional resource allocation in China, the spatial and welfare effects of transportation infrastructure, and economic growth. Her academic papers have been published in international SSCI journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Housing Economics, Economic Modelling, Singapore Economic Review, and Asian Development Review. In 2022, she was awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Youth Project titled High-speed Rail Opening, Factor Mobility, and Regional Economic Integration: A Study Based on a Quantitative Spatial General Equilibrium Framework, and she has participated in multiple national natural science and social science projects. Currently, she serves as a peer reviewer for SSCI journals including the Journal of Housing Economics and China Economic Review.
