Yanyan Xiong
Yanyan
Xiong received her B.S. degree in Management and M.A. degree in Labor Economics
from Zhejiang University in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and her Ph.D. degree
in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2008. She was a
postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and later at
Tsinghua University from 2009 to 2011. She became an Associate Professor at
School of Economics and Management, Southeast University in 2011. From 2014 to
2015, she was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology. She joined the faculty of School of Public Affairs at
Zhejiang University as a ZJU100 Young Professor in 2017. From 2019 to the
present, she is a ZJU100 Young Professor in School of Economics, Zhejiang
University. She joined the Lau Chor Tak Institute of Global Economics and Finance at
the Chinese University of Hong Kong as Research Fellow (Honorary) in
2021.
