Zhi Wang
Professor Zhi Wang received his Ph.D. from
the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota in 1994 with
a minor in computer and information sciences. He currently is an affiliated
research faculty and a Senior Policy Fellow at the Schar School of Policy and
Government of George Mason University (GMU), and also is a professor and
founding director of Research Center of Global Value Chains at University of
International Business and Economics in Beijing. He worked as a Lead
international economist at U.S. International Trade Commission and other US
government agencies more than 20 years before his current appointment.
