Le Kang

Le Kang

Le Kang is currently a special associate research fellow at the Institute of Education Research, Nanjing University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning (2007), a Bachelor's degree in Economics (2007), a Master's degree in Educational Economics and Management (2011), and a Doctorate in Educational Economics and Management (2018) from Peking University. He previously served as a Postdoctoral fellow at the China Institute for Educational Finance Research at Peking University. His primary research directions are Educational Economics, Health Economics, with recent focuses including college admission processes in China's National College Entrance Exam and early childhood development. His research has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Political Economy Microeconomics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and The Lancet Regional Health - Western Pacific. He has also received the third prize of the 6th National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Educational Science Research from the Ministry of Education.
