Sisi Yang

Sisi Yang worked as a Senior research Associate at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR), located in the UNSW Business School. Currently she is an Associate Investigator of CEPAR UNSW. She received PhDs in Sociology/Demography from Macquarie University and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2018. Sisi’s research interests are well-being and social equality in the context of migration and urbanization, with a focus on inequality in health status, subjective wellbeing of older adults, the health status of migrant workers and their children, and employment outcomes of migrant workers, mainly based on data from large scale surveys, censuses and interviews. Her research has been published in both national and international academic journals, such as Social Indicators Research, Urban Studies and the Chinese Journal of Population Science.
