Shaowei Ke
Shaowei Ke is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan. He is interested in decision theory, social choice, and behavioral economics. His research covers topics such as bounded rationality in complex decision problems, decision making under ambiguity, and aggregation of heterogeneous dynamic preferences. His recent research aims at providing behavioral foundations for machine-learning models and examining empirically how behavioral economics can be incorporated into machine-learning models to improve their performance. He received his PhD in Economics from Princeton University in 2015, and BEcon in Finance from Tsinghua University in 2010.
